Jessica Simpson shimmers in sheer crystal-covered dress at the Footwear News Annual Achievement Awards

She’s an “Irresistible” icon.

Jessica Simpson turned heads in a see-through dress at the Footwear News Annual Achievement Awards on Wednesday night, walking the red carpet in a crystal-covered gown at Cipriani South Street in NYC.

While plenty of celebs have been letting it all hang out on the red carpet lately, the “I Think I’m in Love With You” singer, 43, wore a nude bra under her sheer gown, which featured a high neck and plenty of dazzling crystals covering the length of the gown.

Simpson wore her hair down in a sleek blowout, rocking voluminous lashes and a glossy nude lip for the event, where she was honored with the publication’s Icon Award.

Of course, she also wore a pair of her signature platform heels, showing off a silver pair in a photo as she lifted the hem of her shimmery dress.

The pop star was recognized for the success of her Jessica Simpson fashion brand, which includes clothing, handbags and other accessories in addition to shoes.

The “Sweetest Sin” singer — who rocked two faux fur coats in NYC earlier this week — launched her brand in 2005 along with her mother, Tina Simpson, 63, who also attended the event.

“An icon is someone who is not afraid to take risks,” Simpson told Footwear News. “And often, their choices don’t make sense in the immediate, but they’re part of an enlightened understanding of the big picture. It’s someone who transcends a particular time or place and defines a moment.”

Along with chatting about her “icon” status, Simpson shared some tidbits about her 11-year-old daughter, Maxwell, with the publication.

“She is very much into the glow-up stuff, how to better yourself,” the Texas native said, admitting, “I had to have her explain it to me the other day, because I thought it was literally putting highlighter on her cheeks.”

She continued that Maxwell told her, “no, it’s your inner glow and how to glow up everything in your life.”

Simpson, who said it was “a beautiful concept,” was into the idea, although she said, “If that’s what you’re learning on TikTok, keep going — but just know, those are all filters.”

Spoken like a true icon.
