Tori Spelling wore daughter’s top and borrowed pants after iHeartRadio Music Awards ‘fashion emergency’

Like daughter, like mother.

Tori Spelling hit the red carpet for the first time since announcing her divorce from husband Dean McDermott Monday night, stepping out at the iHeart Radio Music Awards 2024 in a tiny crop top and plaid pants — but it turns out her shirt was a last-minute steal from her daughter.

The “Beverly Hills 90210” alum, 50, showed off her fit figure in an ab-baring black tank top and baggy elastic waist trousers on the yellow carpet, and if the pants looked a little big around the waist, it’s because they were also an “emergency” borrow.

T.J. Holmes and Amy Robach revealed the wardrobe snafu on a new episode of their podcast “Amy and T.J.” Tuesday morning, sharing that they ran into Spelling at the event and realized she needed a new outfit.

“Tori was waiting in line with us, but she’d had a fashion emergency earlier,” Robach said, adding, “I don’t know how it happened but somehow the dress she was supposed to wear got misplaced.”

The former “GMA 3” anchor continued that “some of her reps came running into the room saying does anyone have a dress that Tori Spelling can borrow?”

The TV personality said that Spelling “made it all work” and “somehow found a pair of pants from someone and a top from her daughter.”

Although Robach didn’t specify which of the “Saved by the Bell” star’s daughters she swiped the top from, all signs point to 15-year-old Stella, who wore the same look at the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball 2023.

But even though she’d gone through a stressful pre-carpet experience, the mom of five found time to help Robach out with her own outfit.

The podcaster — who was axed from “GMA” along with Holmes after their affair came to light — said Spelling was “blinged out with really cool jewelry.”

“I realized I had none, so she was offering me some of her rings. It was very sweet. She was like, ‘Hey look, I know what it’s like to be without.’”

Holmes told his girlfriend how it was a “surreal moment” to be “waiting to go have my picture taken with you, talking to Tori Spelling and talking about exchanging jewelry.”

Robach agreed, musing, “when I was coming up, she was like everything,” adding her younger self would’ve been “geeking out a million times over.”

As for the “Tori & Dean: Home Sweet Hollywood” star, she called her husband to reveal she’d filed for divorce in the middle of her new podcast, “Misspelling.”

Spelling officially filed papers in March, citing “irreconcilable differences” as the cause of her breakup from the 57-year-old, whom she married in 2006.
