Reese Witherspoon and her daughter, Ava Phillippe, aren’t the only ones who look alike!
The 24-year-old had fans doing a double take when she sat next to her grandma, Betty Reese, at the “Golden Bachelor” finale on Thursday.
The duo were all smiles sitting in the live studio audience.
“My grandma Betty needed a date,” Phillippe told her Instagram followers. “She knew exactly who to call!”
The college student, who wore a black top, sequined shorts and sheer tights to watch Season 1 lead Gerry Turner propose to winner Theresa Nist, went on to write that her grandparent is the one who “deserves all the roses.”
She posted a video of Reese, 75, accepting a flower and gushing, “I love you, my dear.”
While Witherspoon was not in attendance herself, social media users still couldn’t help but point out the similarities between the actress, 47, and her family members.
“I thought she was her mother at first,” one Instagram user wrote of Ava, as another added, “Tell me that ain’t Reese Witherspoon in senior citizen makeup.”
The “Morning Show” star is often compared to her daughter, whom she shares with ex-husband Ryan Phillippe, but Witherspoon doesn’t see the resemblance.

The Oscar winner denied that Ava is her spitting image during a November 2022 “Today” show appearance — and Ryan, 49, shared similar views with E! News the previous year.
Although the actor acknowledged that there is a “father-son resemblance” between himself and son Deacon, he claimed the 20-year-old looks “more like Reese’s side of the family.”
Ryan continued, “Ava looks more like mine. Quite often, the interpretation in the media is that she looks exactly like her mom and he looks exactly like me, but I think we both feel differently about it.”
The former couple were married from 1999 to 2008. Since splitting, Witherspoon and Ryan went on to welcome son Tennessee, 11, and daughter Kai, 12, with exes Jim Toth and Alexis Knapp, respectively.
