“Real Housewives of New York City” alum Ramona Singer’s boyfriend was apparently “s–tfaced,” “loud” and “obnoxious” during a recent night out at a New York City restaurant.
Celebrity hairstylist Chaz Dean claimed he ran into William “Bill” Luby — whom he described as “effing intense” — at Nonna Beppa while they were each dining separately with groups.
“We walked in, and they were at the bar. And it was, like, frat-ness,” Dean shared on Monday’s episode of the “Behind the Velvet Rope with David Yontef” podcast.
“They were drunk and obnoxious before they even sat down. And then when we realized that they were there for dinner, it was just loud and insane. … It was so inappropriate, and it was so obnoxious for all of the patrons at the restaurant. And even the staff kept looking, like, ‘Oh my God, what do we do with this?’”
Dean, 49, said the financier was “FaceTiming Ramona at the time” and that he and his pals were “in their own world.”
“Then one of them at their table was trying to hit on one of the girls at our table,” the hair guru recalled, adding that the friend “tried to get [one of their] girls to come back to his hotel.”
Dean clarified that Luby did not hit on anyone; “he was just so s–tfaced.”

“He brought Ramona on FaceTime to our table,” the Wen founder told host Yontef, explaining that he felt the move was Luby trying to wingman for his friend. “It was that sort of element.”
“It was like they were 20-year-old college kids,” Dean said, noting that Luby’s group’s behavior was “not fair” to those who were “trying to have a nice, quiet dinner.”
Luby and Singer, 67, have been quietly dating since Labor Day 2022. They went on to spend last summer “making out all over Southampton.”
A source told Page Six in July 2023 that the former Bravolebrity was “a new woman” and “totally in love” with the New Jersey native.
Reps for the couple did not immediately respond to Page Six’s request for comment regarding Dean’s claims.
