Prince William, Kate Middleton ‘embarrassed’ by apparent Christmas card Photoshop fail: report

Prince William and Kate Middleton are reportedly “embarrassed” that the public believes their family’s Christmas card was Photoshopped.

A source claimed to Us Weekly Tuesday that the Prince and Princess of Wales, both 41, “were as shocked as everyone else” to see that their youngest son Prince Louis’ middle finger was missing from the holiday snap.

Page Six has been unable to confirm the claims of how William and Middleton reacted to the feedback.

Their reps did not immediately return Page Six’s requests for comment.

William and Middleton also have not publicly responded on the apparent editing mishap – even though the original post of the photo on Instagram is filled with people calling out the flub.

“Photoshop fail!! There’s an extra leg in this picture!!!! How did the photographer did not notice?? Omg 😱,” one of the top comments reads.

Another added, “It’s all PHOTOSHOP.. PRINCE LOUIS IS MISING [sic] A FINGER. VERY BAD EDITING.”

Some followers pointed out, though, that Louis could have very likely just tucked away his finger while the rest were posing.

The young child has a history of acting mischievously in moments when he’s meant to be on his best behavior.

He recently was seen blowing out his sister Charlotte’s candle at a Christmas carol concert and, in May, was caught repeatedly yawning at his grandfather King Charles III’s coronation.

Other royal fans, though, took notice of how grown up the children have gotten and said the family looks “beautiful.”

“It’s a beautiful, simple and classy family photo that so many can relate to,” one person commented. “I love the down to earth of the denim and converse. Well done 👏.”

On Saturday, William and Kate released the black-and-white photo, which features them, Louis, 5, and 10-year-old Prince George and 8-year-old Princess Charlotte in matching white button-down shirts.

Instead of responding to any criticism, the senior royals posted on social media about some of the charity work they and their kids have been doing around the holidays.

“A pleasure to join volunteers serving Christmas lunch at @passagecharity yesterday,” a slideshow of photos featuring William feeding the homeless read.

“The Passage’s Resource Centre supports an average of 100 individuals a day whilst their new project, No Night Out, is reframing homelessness as a public health issue, helping people into emergency hotel accommodation. Together we can end homelessness.”
