Rick Harrison spoke out about his son Adam’s sudden death for the first time late Friday evening.
“You will always be in my heart! I love you Adam. 💔,” he penned on Instagram alongside a photo of himself spending time with Adam at a bar.
Adam, who died at the age of 39 on Friday, looked jolly as he smiled wide next to his dad with a small plate of oysters and what appeared to be a beer in front of him.
He wore a black T-shirt and a silver necklace in the image.
Meanwhile, the “Pawn Stars” personality grinned in a blue button-down shirt.
TMZ first reported the news of Adam’s passing and claimed he died from a drug overdose.
No further information surrounding his death is available at the time of this writing.
His family, however, confirmed Adam’s passing in a brief statement to Page Six Friday, saying, “Our family is extremely saddened by the death of Adam. We ask for privacy as we grieve his loss.”

Adam was one of Rick’s three sons. Adam’s brother Corey Harrison also shared his heartbreak on social media by posting a photo of them taking a bath together when they were little boys.
Both Adam and Corey looked thrilled as they played with dinosaur toys in the throwback snapshot.
“Wax wtf I will always love you bubba,” he captioned the pic, seemingly shocked.
In addition to Adam and Corey, Rick shares a college-aged boy named Jacob with his second wife, Tracy.
While Corey is big into the family business and is even featured on “Pawn Stars Do America,” Adam appeared to stay away from the spotlight and the family business at Gold & Silver Pawn Shop.
He also never filmed for “Pawn Stars.”
