Lenny Hochstein sues estranged wife Lisa for defamation over domestic violence allegations

Dr. Lenny Hochstein is suing his estranged wife, Lisa Hochstein, for accusing him of domestic violence.

In the defamation lawsuit filed Friday in Miami and obtained by Page Six, the plastic surgeon, 57, claimed the “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 41, “lie[d]” when she alleged last month that he had abused her.

Lisa took to her Instagram Story to share a photo showing a bruise on her arm and wrote atop the image, “Didn’t want to have to share this. But I’m left with no choice. I’m being threatened and harassed through the court system and through ‘others’ by Lenny and it needs to stop.”

She added, “This was almost 2 weeks old from last season. You may have caught this bruise on the episode when I opened up to the women on the show about the divorce.”

The Bravolebrity made sure to circle the black-and-blue mark located above her left elbow.

Though Lenny has already publicly denied hitting Lisa, he reiterated in his filing that he is “not an abuser” and claimed that she “is not being truthful about her bruise and how it came about.”

According to his complaint, the injury “came about because [Lisa] as usual was yelling at and berating
[Lenny] when he came home from work, as she did almost daily telling him how he never does anything right, so [Lenny] attempted to walk away and started walking up the stairs and [Lisa] walked in front
of [him] going backwards up the stairs so she could continue yelling in [his] face and [she] lost her
balance and fell on a stair.”

Lenny claimed he consulted with a board-certified medical examiner and insisted that the mark on Lisa’s arm was a “linear bruise” and not one that “is consistent with any abuse whatsoever.”

Lenny stated that he’s been “forced to clear his name” and “expose [Lisa] for the cheater, homewrecker and liar that she is.”

He went on to question the timeline of her relationship with her boyfriend, Jody Glidden.

As Page Six exclusively reported, Lisa and Glidden, 50, were first seen together on Sept. 4, 2022, just one day after he returned home early from his canceled wedding trip, which he went on anyway with his former fiancée, Rabia.

Security camera footage from that day shows the reality personality and the tech entrepreneur arriving back to the Star Island mansion Lisa shared with Lenny.

Both Lisa and Glidden have denied any overlap between their romance and his previous engagement.

Lenny — who in his suit included loving messages allegedly sent to him by Lisa in September and October 2022 — filed for divorce in May 2022 after 12 years of marriage. They share two children: son Logan, 8, and daughter Elle, 4.

Lisa has repeatedly accused her estranged husband of cheating on her with his “mistress,” Katharina Mazepa, to whom he proposed in July.

Reps for the Hochsteins did not immediately respond to our requests for comment.

“We haven’t received anything,” Lisa told Us Weekly, who was first to report the lawsuit. “This DOES seem like something ‘litigator Lenny’ would do as he’s made it clear he’s out to financially strangle me. He’s not happy unless he’s suing.”
