Justin Long hints at future kids with wife Kate Bosworth in romantic birthday tribute

Justin Long suggested that a family is in the future for himself and wife Kate Bosworth in an emotional birthday tribute.

“One day our kids might ask me ‘Dad, why did you write sappy things about Mom on that old Instagram app? The one you won’t let us use?’” he wrote via Instagram Tuesday to celebrate Bosworth’s 41st birthday.

The “Jeepers Creepers” star went on to explain to their hypothetical children that “there are a lot of poisonous things on the Internet but your mom always inspires me to put good things into the world.”

“And I’ve been so blessed to have experienced so many fun, wondrous things in this life – things for which I’ll never be able to properly express my gratitude – but of all those joys, touching your Mom and making her smile are my favorites,” the actor continued.

Elsewhere in the lengthy post, Long, 45, recalled his wedding to Bosworth, writing that she “overwhelmed a boy when [she] first called him ‘husband’ and made him feel luckier than he’s ever felt.”

The “Tusk” star’s heartfelt post included a montage of photos of the couple as the song “Simply the Best” by Billiane played in the background.

Rumors began to circulate about their engagement in March 2023 after the “Blue Crush” actress was spotted with a ring at Vanity Fair’s Oscars bash.

The pair later confirmed on the actor’s podcast, “Life Is Short With Justin Long,” that the proposal “spilled out” in December 2022, a few days after they attended therapy together.

“[The therapist] gave us a really great piece of advice which was: ‘Make sure that you’re pretty consistently asking the other what you need, or asking the other what they need,’” Bosworth recalled.

“And he, like, really looked at me and he said, ‘To spend my life with you,’ and I smiled and I said, ‘Well, yeah, you have that. Oh my gosh, you have that,’ and he said, ‘No, I mean I really want to spend my life with you.’”

The two secretly said “I do” at The Rockaway Hotel in Queens, New York.

“It was a very low-key ceremony. Onlookers thought it was an engagement photo shoot of some sort — not an actual wedding,” a source told Page Six of the nuptials.
