Josh Duhamel squirms as Jeff Lewis pokes fun at his 21-year age gap with wife Audra Mari

Josh Duhamel squirmed as Jeff Lewis gave him a hard time about his 21-year age gap with his wife, Audra Mari.

Lewis relentlessly poked fun at Duhamel, 51, for having a much younger spouse while they filmed a scene for Season 2 of the former’s Amazon Freevee show, “Hollywood Houselift.”

“I think this marriage could last if you listen to us,” the home renovator joked while standing with his team and Duhamel in the actor’s overcrowded closet.

“We could’ve saved the first one,” Lewis added, causing Duhamel to chuckle, “but you know what, here we are. Live and learn!”

The “Shotgun Wedding” star was famously married to pop singer Fergie from January 2009 to November 2019. The exes share a 10-year-old son named Axl.

He went on to tie the knot with former beauty pageant queen Mari, who will be 29 in January, in September 2022.

“Where is she today?” Lewis, 53, inquired about Mari, who is pregnant with the couple’s first child together.

“She’s finishing school,” Duhamel replied, to which the interior designer asked, “High school?”

The “All My Children” alum laughed as his head dropped in defeat before explaining, “She’s getting her business degree.”

But Lewis simply could not help himself. “Is she in a sorority?” he wondered aloud, causing a smiling Duhamel to pan to the camera and beg, “Can we cut for a second?”

Duhamel began dating Mari around May 2019, but the duo was not seen packing on the PDA until that October. (He and Fergie had been separated since September 2017.)

He popped the question in January 2022.

As for their bundle of joy, the pair announced they were expecting in September. Shortly after, Duhamel revealed Axl’s “really sweet” reaction to the news.

“He’s like, ‘Wait, now, am I going to be — You’re still going to love me, though, too, right?’” he recalled his firstborn asking. “I was like, ‘Of course I’m going to still love you!’”

The “Love, Simon” actor said his son “loves babies” and predicted that he’s “going to be a great older brother.”
