Jennifer Lawrence dishes on her ‘stressful’ star-studded wedding day, telling Robert DeNiro to ‘go home’

Jennifer Lawrence’s wedding to hubby Cooke Maroney was anything but stress-free.

The “No Hard Feelings” actress opened up about her 2019 nuptials while walking the red carpet at Sunday night’s Golden Globes.

Admitting that she found being a bride “awful,” Lawrence said she was mostly worried about the guests having a good time which made the entire day “so stressful.”

“You’re not having fun. You’re just like, ‘Is that person having fun?’” she told E! News.

The private ceremony was attended by celebs including Robert DeNiro, who had worked with Lawrence on the 2012 film “Silver Linings Playbook,” 2013’s “American Hustle,” and the 2015 film “Joy.”

But at the rehearsal dinner, Lawrence admitted that she was so worried that DeNiro, 80, wasn’t having a good time that she even told him to “go home.”

“I looked over and I saw Bob, who doesn’t know anybody and he’s kind of wandering around, and I immediately was like, ‘No, this isn’t what he wants to be doing. I don’t want him here,’” she explained.

“So I went over and whispered, I was like, ‘Go home,’ and he was nice — he like talked to my parents and was polite — but I was like, ‘Go.’ “

“That just genuinely made me feel better,” she said of the Oscar winner’s exit.

“I’ll never forget — I was freaking out about the guests being cold, and all of my friends were lying. They’re like, ‘Nobody’s cold, nobody’s cold, everything’s fine, everything’s fine,’” she shared.

It’s the first time Lawrence revealed details from her intimate wedding day.

The Oscar-winning actress never shared photos of her Dior wedding gown, which had its own hotel room leading up to the big day, but paparazzi photos revealed a sequined neckline. Maroney, meanwhile, opted for a classic tuxedo.
