Jamie Lynn Spears insists she’s ‘never taken anything’ from sister Britney amid ongoing ‘fight’

Jamie Lynn Spears insists she’s never “taken anything” from her sister, Britney Spears, amid the family’s ongoing feud.

The “Zoey 101” alum – who is currently competing on the UK reality show “I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here” – admitted that while the “Toxic” singer, 41, has been a “good big sister,” they still “fight.”

“She’s a good big sister, she is. Yeah, I love her,” Jamie Lynn, 32, said during Saturday’s episode.

“Me and her throw down. The world’s seen that. I’ve learned to stop talking about it publicly, but you know what, families fight. Listen, we just do it better than most.”

When fellow competitor Sam Thompson suggested all families have their quirks, the former Nickelodeon star said, “Me and her both have had a very complicated upbringing. We’ve had very complicated circumstances and we both had to deal with them in different ways.”

Jamie Lynn went on, “Sometimes we took it out on each other when perhaps we shouldn’t have. I’ve never, ever … I’ve been the one person in her life – and she can say this – I’ve never taken anything from her, you know? I’ve been the one person in her life who’s always said, ‘I just want to be your sister.’

“We just had a really weird life so we can’t explain it to many people, but at the end of the road I know that that’s my family, I love them.”

She and Thompson, who are filming the series in the Australian rainforest, also discussed Jamie Lynn’s relationship with Britney’s sons Sean Preston, 18, and Jayden James, 17, whom she shares with ex-husband Kevin Federline, 45.

She also addressed her relationship with Britney’s two sons.

“Do Britney’s kids really like you? Are you like the cool aunt? Do you think she’s watching you on this?” the “Made in Chelsea” star asked her.

“Yeah, they are precious and they are so cute, the boys couldn’t be better boys,” Jamie Lynn replied.

“I can imagine she’d be worried about me on here,” she said of the “Gimme More” songstress.

“They are precious and they are so cute, the boys couldn’t be better boys,” she said of the youngsters.

“I think she’s probably checking in on me heavily. I do think she’s probably like, ‘Why would she do that?’”

The “Sweet Magnolias” actress revealed she discussed her participation in the show with Britney before jetting off to Australia.

“She asked me that before I came here, she was like, ‘You’re really going to do it?’ I was like, ‘I’m going to go to Australia and check it out,’” Jamie Lynn recalled.

Although Jamie Lynn has maintained they’re on good terms, Britney has publicly slammed her little sister several times.

Earlier this week, Jamie Lynn spoke to fellow contestant Fred Sirieix about whether she gets along with the “Woman In Me” author.

“I love my sister,” she simply replied.

The singer has called her “scum” and a “selfish little brat.”

“Anything my sister did I always thought was the best,” she further gushed.

Although Jamie Lynn has always spoken positively of her A-list sibling, Britney hasn’t exactly been singing the same tune, at one point suggesting her family “should all be in jail” for how they treated her over the years.

She even slammed her little sister on social media, calling her “scum” and a “selfish little brat” for allegedly turning a blind eye to the reported abuse she faced throughout her years-long conservatorship.

Britney later eviscerated her family in her recent memoir, “The Woman In Me.”

Britney most recently called Jamie Lynn out in her explosive memoir for using the end of her conservatorship as a cash grab to release her own book, titled “Things I Should Have Said.”

“As I was fighting the conservatorship and receiving a lot of press attention, she was writing a book capitalizing on it,” she wrote.

“She rushed out salacious stories about me, many of them hurtful and outrageous.”
