Brielle Biermann says fiancé Billy Seidl asked for her adoptive father Kroy’s blessing to propose

Brielle Biermann revealed that before her fiancé Billy Seidl popped the all-important question, he asked her adoptive father Kroy for his blessing.

The “Don’t Be Tardy” alum, 27, announced on Monday that she got engaged to the Minor League Baseball pitcher, 24, nearly a year after they took their romance public.

And while the proposal came as a complete “surprise” to her, the same can’t be said for her adoptive father Kroy, and her mom, Kim Zolciak.

“Yes, [Seidl] asked Kroy,” Brielle confirmed in an Instagram Q&A Wednesday. “He actually asked Kroy a while ago.”

The sweet gesture is especially touching considering the bitter divorce battle the former NFL athlete and the “Real Housewives of Atlanta” alum is currently embroiled in.

The former Atlanta Falcons linebacker adopted Brielle in 2013 — just two years after tying the knot with her mom.

“I’m so happy for @briellebiermann @bseidl21 nothing makes me happier than seeing my kids happy! 💍It’s the best feeling EVER!!,” Zolciak, 45, wrote on Instagram Tuesday of her daughter’s engagement.

“Love you both to the moon and back and look forward to alllll the years to come 🙏🏻❤️😍.”

Elsewhere, Brielle revealed that the newly-engaged couple is in no rush to say their “I do’s” just yet.

“The second we got engaged everybody was like, ‘When’s the wedding?’” Brielle shared. “And I am like, ‘What? I just got engaged! I haven’t even thought about that. I don’t really know what the plan is. I’m just trying to enjoy this engagement life.’”

Announcing the pair’s engagement Tuesday, Brielle posted a series of sweet engagement pictures showing the minor league baseball player down on one knee.

“Forever with you 🤍🥹🫀🫶🏻,” she wrote alongside images that showed her covering her mouth in shock in the middle of what appeared to be a park.

Other pics showed the couple beaming ear-to-ear as the reality star flaunted her new bling toward the Kannapolis Cannon Ballers star’s camera.

Biermann also showed a close-up of her sterling silver round diamond ring on her Instagram Story, writing, “It’s so shiny. I can’t stop looking at [it].”

The couple went public with their relationship in April 2023 when Seidl posted a snap to Instagram of Brielle on his lap at a restaurant.

Months later, he posted a distant photo of him and Brielle on the beach.
