Brian Austin Green recalls being ‘really f–king jealous’ over ex Tiffani Thiessen’s sex scenes on ‘Beverly Hills, 90210’

Brian Austin Green said jealousy got the best of him during his romance with Tiffani Thiessen.

The actor, 50, admitted during Monday’s episode of Shannen Doherty’s “Let’s Be Clear” podcast that the pair’s romance took a turn for the worse after Thiessen joined the fifth season of “Beverly Hills, 90210.”

“I’d never been in a real serious relationship before,” Green, who dated the “Saved By the Bell” alum from 1992 to 1995, said.

Green — who played David Silver in the series — explained that he would get “incredibly jealous” every time Thiessen had to work with one of his cast mates, whom he considered “family.”

“I used to bring Tiffani to events so she knew everybody from then and then all of a sudden she’s doing sex scenes and s—t with people that were like my family and my brothers,” he explained. “It was strange. I remember I was really just f—king jealous and boisterous.”

Although the pair moved in together shortly before filming began, they ultimately called it quits about a year later.

Reflecting on his jealousy issues, Green admitted that he handled the situation poorly and should have realized that his then-girlfriend was just doing her job.

“Looking back on it, I can’t imagine what that was like for her,” he said. “I can’t imagine what it was like for her being with me for three years at that point and then having to do these scenes and having her f—king boyfriend, who she lives with by the way, freaking out the way that I was.”

The actress, who recently turned 50, also hinted at Green’s behavior during a 2015 interview on Meredith Vieira’s eponymous talk show.

When asked about their dynamic on set, Thiessen explained that she would have to remind the actor that she was getting “paid” to kiss Perry.

“That was probably the more awkward thing,” she recalled. “Literally having your boyfriend on the show and then literally kissing another man.”

However, Thiessen said that she and Green “made it work” and — despite their eventual split — “are still very close and good friends.”

Green, for his part, welcomed son Kassius Lijah with ex-girlfriend Vanessa Marcil in 2002 before marrying Megan Fox in 2010.

He and the “Transformers” star welcomed sons Noah, 11, Bodhi, 10, and Journey, 7, before they split in 2020.

Green welcomed his fifth child, Zane Walker, with his now-fiancée, Sharna Burgess, in June 2022.
