Bobbie Althoff’s ‘skyrocketing fame’ — not Drake — to blame for divorce: report

Bobbie Althoff’s divorce has nothing to do with Drake and everything to do with her “skyrocketing fame,” according to a new report.

Per TMZ, the podcaster’s rise to stardom negatively affected her relationship with Cory Althoff, a tech executive who apparently wants to “remain a normie.”

Cory filed to end his four-year marriage earlier this week, citing irreconcilable differences. He and Bobbi share two daughters: 3-year-old Luca and 1-year-old Isla. He requested joint legal and physical custody.

After their breakup made headlines, Bobbi released a statement in which she called Cory an “incredible father and person” whom she would “always love.”

Interestingly, Cory listed their date of separation as July 4, 2023 — the same month Drake was a guest on Bobbi’s “The Really Good Podcast.” At the time, it was her biggest get to date.

The following month, she denied speculation that she and the rapper had a romantic fling that led to a feud, insisting to Barstool Sports founder Dave Portnoy that any hookup gossip was “not true.”

During the podcast episode in question — which was conducted in a hotel bed after she dropped everything to accommodate Drake’s tour schedule, causing her to miss her youngest child’s 1st birthday — a seemingly disinterested Bobbi hit the Grammy winner with a multitude of deadpan questions.

Bobbi — who’s known for her awkward and dry celebrity interviews — then posted an Instagram Reel showing her having a miserable time at one of his concerts, seemingly to keep her persona consistent.

Drake, whom Bobbi interviewed last July, reportedly has nothing to do with the split despite rumors they hooked up. Youtube
However, she and the rapper reportedly did have a falling out after their on-camera chat. Youtube

However, shortly after, Bobbi deleted the video, scrubbed the interview from all platforms and even unfollowed the musician, who made sure to return the favor.

According to TMZ, the two did have a falling out.

Drake reportedly invited the media personality to the aforementioned concert — but as a general admission attendee. She was “furious,” “blew [him] up about it” and “even tried going backstage at one point,” per the outlet.

The video showing her unenthused while at the show was apparently genuine, and it didn’t sit well with the “God’s Plan” hitmaker’s team, who reportedly demanded she take it down.

That’s when Bobbi removed both the clip and the podcast episode.

Their reps did not immediately respond to Page Six’s requests for comment.
