Aubrey Plaza’s yellow Emmys 2024 red carpet dress draws comparisons to Post-it note, Kraft Single and more

She invented Post-its.

Aubrey Plaza stepped out in a pale yellow gown on the Emmys 2024 red carpet, wearing a look fresh off the Loewe spring/summer 2024 runway that had fans throwing out plenty of hilarious comparisons on social media.

The “Parks and Recreation” alum, 39, looked ready for spring in her buttery yellow dress, which featured a sack-like square of fabric at the front of her dress with a huge gold pin stabbed through it.

She showed off some skin in the backless creation, pairing it with metallic gold platform heels along with hoop earrings and rings by Effy.

Plaza — who is the new face of Loewe — wore her hair pulled back in a half-up style, sporting dark berry lipstick and a pale pink manicure.

“Why did she dress as a paperbag lunchbox?” one fan tweeted in reply to Entertainment Tonight’s pictures of the star.

“Looks like she stapled a bib to the front of her dress,” another Twitter user wrote.

A third fan compared her look to the Post-it note Carrie Bradshaw famously received from Jack Berger with a breakup note on it in an episode of “Sex and the City,” writing, “I’m sorry I can’t don’t hate me” over the photo of her gown.

“Why does it look like Aubrey Plaza is wearing a Kraft cheese square? #emmys” another social media user wondered, sharing a side-by-side photo of Plaza and a stack of plastic-wrapped cheese squares.

Another fan hilariously compared the star’s dress to “When you’re 12 and you love sticking a pin through that super thin first layer of skin on the inside of your hand.”

The “White Lotus” actress was nominated for an Emmy for her role on the show, with the star receiving a nod in the Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series category.

Perhaps she can stow her Emmy in the front of her dress.
